Baba's Pierogies

Welcome to Baba's Pierogies, a charming spot located in the heart of Brooklyn at 295 3rd Ave. If you're searching for authentic Eastern European cuisine with a warm and inviting atmosphere, you've just found your new favorite haunt! This cozy cafe specializes in homemade pierogies, offering a delightful array of flavors that appeal to both traditionalists and the adventurous.

Baba's Pierogies is not just a place to eat; it's an experience. As you step inside, the atmosphere wraps around you like a comforting embrace. The dining area, often noted for its clean, cute, and comfy setup, encourages patrons to linger a little longer as they savor the menu's offerings. Many visitors, like Hannah Sierp, rave about the freshness and comforting nature of their pierogies, highlighting the friendly service that enhances the overall dining experience.

The highlight, of course, is the menu, featuring handmade pierogies that cater to a variety of tastes. You might want to try the Baba's Potato or Bacon Cheddar Potato pierogies, both offered in generous half portions for just $12.25. Each dumpling is a burst of flavor, encapsulated in soft, delightful dough. Customers like Jonathan emphasize the delightful balance of flavors, especially in the pan-fried mac and cheese pierogies, which are reported to have a perfectly crisp exterior and savory filling.

To enhance your meal, don't miss out on one of their delectable toppings or dips. The Helen's Dip is highly recommended, with loyal patrons like Caitlin McMullen insisting that this is a must-try alongside any dish. Vegan options are also available, ensuring that everyone can indulge in the pierogie fun. Dips like the Vegan Horseradish Dip and the classic Sour Cream and Chives add an extra layer of enjoyment to the already tantalizing bites.

While diners frequently opt for takeout, the inviting ambiance makes it a perfect spot to gather with friends for a meal—something H O P E passionately recommends. From the first taste to the last bite, the joy of sharing this experience with loved ones cannot be overstated. Plus, with affordable prices and generous portions, you won't feel guilty for returning for seconds—or even thirds!

Amazing cheese & potato pierogies, really good chicken soup. Dining area is clean, cute, and comfy. Lunch deal rocks! A little more expensive otherwise, but still worth it IMO. Wish I took pics of the food but I ate it so fast that I didn’t get the chance...

One of my favorite places to eat! Literally everything on the menu is delicious. My faves are jalapeno cheddar pierogis or the sloppy kielbasy (as pictured). Also get the Helens dip no matter what you get. (Unless ur vegan).

We were having hard to choose what to order and decided to go with the special pierogies and they were so goooood—recommended!! Feel like most people order takeout, so it’s actually a nice place to eat and chat with friends:)

Absolutely delicious, fresh and comforting pierogies (with meat, veggie and vegan options) and the friendliest service! The lady who waited our table was so helpful and courteous - thank you! Everything was great - would definitely return.
